A British start-up that plans to create a WeWork-style coworking space for musicians has raised £1.9m from investors including Investec founder Bernard Kantor.

The Qube is preparing to open a 16,000 square foot office space in west London in the autumn which will include 30 studios.

The investment into the business was led by venture capital firm Angel CoFund, which has also backed office catering firm City Pantry. That business was sold to Just Eat last week for £16m.
