Shell SpringBoard Winners

Ventive saw off 120 other low carbon start-ups to be named Regional Winners of the Oxford Shell Springboard Awards on Tuesday 23rd April in Oxford.

Run by Shell, the high profile competition aims to find the next big idea in low carbon enterprise and innovation by small and medium enterprises.

Ventive Ltd and fellow winners Vantage Power successfully saw off 120+ companies to secure a place at the regional heat of this year’s competition, impressing judges with their low carbon innovations and each taking away a £40,000 cash prize.

Rob Morrison, MD of Ventive Ltd told press: “Winning the regional final of the Shell Springboard award gives Ventive a fantastic opportunity to take our product to the next level, and we are very much looking forward to competing in the national final.”

The two start-up companies from London will now go head to head against regional winners from the Newcastle and Edinburgh events at the national final, held in London on 14th May.
