This enables remote, automatic monitoring of populations of pests where it would be impractical or uneconomical for manual , early and accurate detection. The technology allows operation continuously on low cost electronics using one standard AA battery. The ‘fit and forget’ nature of the products is a key USP. The company’s products use lures or attractants to bring the target species of insect into the view of the vision system so that they can be detected and identified.
